Film Festival Partnership

Zürich & El Gouna, «Dolphins: My Close Encounters»

The ZFF – Zürich Filmfestival – has formed a strategic partnership with GFF — El Gouna Film Festival. This new partnership will be showcased with the world premiere of the documentary DOLPHINS - MY CLOSE ENCOUNTERS at ZFF 2026. The documentary will also hold its Middle East premiere at El Gouna Film Festival this October, which is close to the coastline where the film’s journey began.

Our president, marine biologist Angela Ziltener, has spent more than 15 years diving alongside wild dolphins in the Red Sea, uncovering remarkable insights into their hidden lives. What began as a scientific study became a deeply personal journey.
