In Cooperation with the Green Hurghada Project and the Red Sea National Parks
Another meaningful step toward protecting the Red Sea’s dolphins!
Our team at Dolphin Watch Alliance had the pleasure of conducting a a four-day conference and practical training session from November 10 to 13 for the Green Hurghada Project, the new Red Sea researchers, rangers, and the CDWS snorkeling guides, focusing on how to safely and respectfully interact with dolphins in their natural habitat.
Over several days, participants combined classroom learning with hands-on field practice, deepening their understanding of dolphin behavior, identification, and the importance of minimizing human impact during encounters.
It was truly inspiring to see such passion and commitment from everyone involved. A reminder that protecting these amazing animals begins with knowledge, awareness, and cooperation.
Together, we’re building a future where conservation and responsible ecotourism go hand in hand.
